These terms and this privacy policy apply to julian.capital and everything you send us through it. "Julian Capital," "we," and "us" mean Julian Capital and its affiliates, including its funds, managers, and team. By using this site or sending us anything, you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use this site.

No offer or advice

Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or fund interest. Any such offer would be made only through private documents to eligible investors. Nothing on this site is investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice.

Examples, calculations, valuations, rankings, testimonials, and statements about companies or results are for general information. They may be incomplete or out of date, they aren't forecasts or promises, and past results don't predict future results. We don't have to update anything on this site.

Submissions and referrals

Sending us something doesn't create a relationship, a contract to invest, or any obligation on our part. We can decline any submission without giving a reason. Any compensation for a referral requires a separate written agreement signed by us, and that agreement controls.

Nothing on this site makes you our employee, agent, partner, or representative. You can't speak for us or bind us.

You confirm that you have the right to send us what you send, that it's accurate as far as you know, and that sending it doesn't violate any law or any duty you owe to anyone. You let us use, copy, store, and share what you send for the purposes described below, without paying you.

What you send isn't confidential

We don't sign NDAs for submissions, and we don't treat submissions as confidential. We review many companies and may already know of, invest in, or work with companies similar to yours, including competitors. Don't send anything you aren't allowed to share, including classified or export-controlled material.

Using this site

Don't use this site unlawfully, interfere with it, or try to access it in ways we haven't allowed, including through scraping or automated tools. We may change, suspend, or remove any part of this site at any time.

We or our licensors own the content, names, and logos on this site. You can't copy or reuse them without our permission. Links to other sites are for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for them.

Disclaimers and limits on liability

This site and its content are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost opportunities, or lost data, arising from this site or anything you send us. Our total liability for any claim relating to this site is limited to $100. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, including under securities laws.

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims and costs arising from what you send us, your use of this site, or your breach of these terms.

Governing law and disputes

Delaware law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to this site or these terms must be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Claims must be brought individually, not as part of a class or representative action, to the extent the law allows.

If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term, we haven't waived it. You can't transfer your rights under these terms. We can. These terms are the whole agreement between us about this site, except for any separate signed agreement.

What we collect

When you fill out a form on this site, we receive what you enter, which may include your email, LinkedIn, startup details, and any deck or memo you upload.

If you refer someone, we also receive what you tell us about them. You're responsible for having their permission.

We and our service providers may use cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies, and may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser, and the pages you view. We don't respond to Do Not Track signals. We don't currently let other parties collect personal information about your activity across websites over time through this site.

How we use it

We may use this information to review what you send, contact you, evaluate companies, run our business, protect our rights, and comply with the law.

Who we share it with

We may share information with service providers, advisors, co-investors, our investors, and portfolio companies when that helps us run our business or evaluate or support a company. We may also disclose it to comply with the law, to protect our rights, or as part of a financing, sale, or reorganization.

Storage and security

We may keep information for as long as we have a business reason to. We process and store information in the United States and other countries, which may have different privacy laws from yours. We can't guarantee the security of anything sent online.

Your privacy rights

This site isn't meant for anyone under 18.

We may change these terms and this policy at any time by updating this page. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using this site after a change, you accept it.
